Risky Business

We just returned from a week's visit to Ontario. I took these photos before we left home. There was a lot of squawking going on, so I went outside to see what was happening. A young hawk was at the top of our high speed pole, with a blue jay sitting on the antennae. It was a dull day, but I like the way the photos turned out...very black and white looking.

The Blue Jay is telling everyone who can hear that a predator is near. (Hey that rhymed !) So the hawks cover is blown. Might as well go hunt somewhere else.

Lovely shots !
