The Hawk, Cape Sable Island

One of our favourite beaches is The Hawk on Cape Sable Island. It's a fair drive for us, but we've managed to get down there several times this year. Our "12 Beaches of Christmas" wouldn't be complete without a visit there, and we had the beach to ourselves last Friday. It was a beautiful walk in mid afternoon.

Isn't it amazing to have a beach all to yourselves like that.

Not many places in the world that that happens.

hey, did you wave hello as you drove by? :}
Good for you for finding the beach you were looking for. Twice now, I've tried to go to a beach on Cape Sable, but not been able to find it. Ended up at the one on the causeway. but that was sufficient for the kids. Have fun beach combing.
