Lazy days of summer

We were away enjoying a cottage in Malagash, Nova Scotia last week. We used the cottage as our base as we toured the northern part of Nova Scotia. I'll share some photos after I sort through them.

Yesterday our thermometer hit 38 degrees (celcius....that's 100F for my American friends). Just. Too. HOT! This morning the critters were out in Purgatory (our screened in porch) before the temperatures started to soar. A lazy bunch. There are several shots of Myrtle (our cat)...she has several spots she likes to try out.

Welcome back! It's a bit cooler at the shore, but not much. My life can be summed up by " Paint - the Never Ending Story" ( or the prequel - Scrape, Sand and Prime: a Love Story). Andy is LOVING it here! Drop in anytime!

I love your sun room.

Yep, this heat has been awful. Even here on the eastern shore it's been too darn hot.

Today is nicer. Hope it's cooler there for you too.

The photos are wonderful.

Sorry to hear you're having wretched heat! Hope it passes soon.

It seems like yesterday that I saw the snow heaped up in the corner of Purgatory. Hasn't mother nature heard of "all things in moderation"?
Glad you enjoyed the cottage. Can't wait to see photos
